Our client is looking for Social Workers for the following teams. These are ongoing vacancies and will pay accomodation and/or costs of £100 per week.

Safeguarding

We are looking for an experienced Social Worker to work in our Forest of Dean Safeguarding Team, where they will hold a caseload of children and provide an effective, evidence based intervention with consideration of timeliness and impact. The caseload for this team will be a mix of CIN, CP & CIC which includes some court work with a caseload of 18. The rate of £40 per hour is being offered to attract quality candidates to Gloucestershire to help meet the current unprecedented demands the Authority is facing. This rate has been increased to attract new candidates and will be reviewed again at the end of June 2021. Gloucestershire County Council are committed to ensuring our agency Social Workers are supported to carry out their roles, so our expenses package for accommodation and/or mileage up to £100 per week remains in place and will be reviewed at the end of June 2021. We are committed to ensuring we have a flexible workforce who can manage their work and home life during these difficult times, in order to do this for this role we would consider homeworking when not rota'd to be in the office.

Assessment

We are looking for an experienced social worker to work in our Forest of Dean Assessment (s47) Team, where they will hold a caseload of children and provide an effective, evidence based intervention with consideration of timeliness and impact and with a case load of around 18. The rate of £40 per hour is being offered to attract quality candidates to Gloucestershire to help meet the current unprecedented demands the Authority is facing. Young people in care

We are looking for an experienced social worker to work with young people in care aged 11+ for our team in Cheltenham. You will be working to support placement stability and managing independence for some of our most vulnerable children. Ideal candidates will have experience working in this area or with care leaver.
