SEN GCSE Tutor - Maths & English (Year 11)
Location: West Molesey, KT8
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: 6 hours per week - Wednesdays & Fridays, 10:00am-1:00pm
Pay: £30-£35 per hour (dependent on experience)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and qualified SEN Tutor to provide 1:1 support to a Year 11 student in West Molesey. This role focuses on GCSE Maths and English and requires a tutor who can deliver structured, engaging sessions tailored to individual learning needs.

The student has ADHD and ASD, alongside speech and language needs. The successful tutor will need to communicate clearly, adapt teaching strategies effectively, and create a calm, supportive learning environment that promotes confidence and academic progress.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 GCSE Maths and English tuition

• Plan and adapt lessons in line with the student's EHCP and learning profile

• Implement strategies to support focus, engagement and comprehension

• Monitor and report on progress

Essential Requirements:

• Recognised UK teaching qualification (QTS, QTLS or equivalent)

• Proven experience supporting students with ASD and ADHD

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (mandatory)

• Strong behaviour management and differentiated teaching skills

• Right to work in the UK
