Remedy Education is recruiting for a Further Education Special Needs Teacher (PMLD/SLD), to work within a special need's environments in the borough of Islington. The successful Further Educational Special Needs Teachers (PMLD/SLD) will need to be comfortable working within a special needs environment, with children across the Year.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position is to hold QTS (essential).

The Role

• Further Educations Special Needs Teacher
• To work with students with a range of needs including, Severe Learning Difficulties and Profound

and Multiple Learning Difficulties

• Working with students across the year
• Working with a team of special needs staff to support the children throughout the day
• Available immediately

Requirements

To be considered for the Further Educations Special Needs Teacher (PMLD/SLD) position, you will:

• Have experience working with children or adults with special needs
• NQTs and/or OS-trained teachers are welcome to apply
• Have strong communication, literacy, and numeracy skills
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status
• Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
• Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks
