Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced Family Support Worker to work for Surrey County Council based in Woking.

Job Purpose

Family Support Workers based in the Children with Disabilities: Family Support Team work across the County working directly with children and their families to complete assessments of need for children referred to them and to identify appropriate packages of support to assist those families. The role entails reviewing the short break provisions, undertaking Team around the Child meetings and using a range of interventions towards achievement of outcomes of the child's plans

As a Family Support Worker, you would have Vocational Qualifications Level 3/4 or equivalent in relevant field with experience of working with disabled children and their families. The role requires an enhanced DBS to be completed.
