Role: Nursery SEN Teaching Assistant/ LSA

Location: Lambeth

Length: ASAP - July 2022 (Possibility of the role extending beyond)

Pay: £70 - £90 Per Day

Remedy Education are working exclusively with a 2 form entry Primary school based in Lambeth that are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support a group of students In Early Years who have ASD (Autism)

The role:

In this SEN Teaching Assistant post you will be working with students 1:1 and in a group setting to support the progression and development of the students. You will be based in the mainstream Primary School and will be under the instruction of the SENCO. You may be working from individual education plans on a 1:1 basis some part of the day and the other delivering group work.

The Candidate:

You will be a gifted SEN Teaching Assistant who has experience working with SEN children with complex needs that include Autism. You will be an empathetic individual who can seek out additional responsibility and develop your own role. The ideal individual should be able to develop a positive and inclusive ethos within the classroom in which to help SEN pupils. It is essential for you to possess the traits and attitude that sees you quickly become a role model to pupils from all economic and social backgrounds.

The School:

This school is a 2 form entry Primary found in the thriving borough of Lambeth and is easily located within walking distance of main bus/ tube routes. The students which attend are from mixed backgrounds and cultures.
