Job Title: Early Years (EYFS) SEN Teaching Assistant - Tower Hamlets

Salary: £97 - £115 per day

Are you a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant with experience in Early Years and a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs? Remedy Education is seeking an enthusiastic Early Years (EYFS) SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive special school in Tower Hamlets.

About the Role

This is a wonderful opportunity to work in a nurturing Early Years classroom, assisting children with a range of Special Educational Needs. The ideal candidate will be hands-on and adaptable, helping to create a stimulating and inclusive environment where every child can learn, play, and develop. You'll be a vital part of a collaborative team, providing essential support to pupils and the class teacher to ensure the best possible outcomes for all.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and small-group support to children with SEN in an EYFS setting.

  • Assist in the delivery of a sensory-rich and engaging curriculum.

  • Help to create and maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.

  • Support pupils with their communication and personal care needs.

  • Collaborate effectively with the class teacher, therapists, and other staff members.

What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience in an Early Years (EYFS) environment is essential.

  • Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs.

  • A patient, creative, and proactive approach to supporting young children.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

  • A current DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply).
