English Teachers required in Newham

Remedy Education are looking for enthusiastic English teachers to work with students on a 1:1 basis at the students home or the local library.

The successful candidate will be working with students that have been excluded or elected home educated and require alternative education provision. It includes, but is not limited to, those with S/EBD and SEN/D as well as students with medical needs. This role will be rewarding, enabling and facilitating learning outside of the classroom which will allow creative delivery and tailored lesson planning to suit the needs of the individual.

The successful candidate requires the following;

• QTS desirable
• Excellent behaviour management skills
• Engaging with students
• Driving necessary
• 1:1 Teaching
• National Curriculum knowledge
• 2 years teaching or tutoring experience in the UK
• An enhanced DBS (ideally on the update service) with no convictions
