Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant

Position: Early Years Teaching Assistant (SEN)
Location: Tower Hamlets
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Contract: Full-time, Term-time only

Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in their early years? A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Tower Hamlets is seeking a dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting children with SEN, including autism and speech & language difficulties
• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored learning plans
• Assisting with personal care and social development
• Creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

• Experience working with Early Years children, particularly those with SEN
• A patient and compassionate nature
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Relevant qualifications (Level 2/3 in Early Years or Teaching Assistant desirable)
