DT Technician required for a high-achieving school in Newham East London.

The school are looking for a DT Technician to come in a support a fantastic DT Department. The school are looking for a DT Technician to join them ASAP the role will be offered on a Full time basis - 5 days a week. The school are keen to look over CVs ASAP and meet technicians over the next few days.

To be considered for this role you must have:

• Experience of working in a secondary school environment
• Experience in using workshop tools such as a CNC Router and band saw would be an advantage
• A current DBS
• Must be available to start ASAP

Your role in include:

• Setting up practical lessons
• Demonstrating in lessons, and assisting with practical lessons
• Supporting the teacher, as well as students using the equipment
• Maintaining apparatus and equipment within the classroom
• Ensuring health and safety is being adhered to at all times
• Restocking and replenishing equipment where necessary
• Ensuring work areas provide a safe environment for students to work in
