Remedy Recruitment Group are looking for a Deputy Team Manager to work within a MAST team in Ealing.

Job Description:

We are looking for a deputy team manager who can lead and further develop our MAST (multi-agency support team) service in Ealing. You will be experienced and skilled in supporting and supervising social workers who are undertaking child and family assessments, child in need and child protection interventions. We are looking for someone who can lead and develop the MAST team and support 4/5 social workers through formal and informal supervision to undertake purposeful, collaborative, and empathetic interventions with families. You will have experience of managing a duty system, processing and advising on Section 47 enquiries with timely and proportionate response. If you are thoughtful, hardworking and creative this could be the right role for you. Delivering effective social care starts with exceptional leadership. We are looking for deputy team managers who will support building our future work force for tomorrow by supporting the high calibre of newly qualified staff through our ASYE programme. You will also be expected to provide monthly reflective and purposeful case supervision, effective co-ordination of casework and planning for children to ensure that children and families in Ealing benefit from the best possible safeguarding and protection. You will be part of a management team of 3 other deputy team managers and a team managers and can expect monthly reflective supervision.

Working from home policy: WFH/Office Based to be balanced against ensuring good team relationships and visits to children undertaken in a timely manner. When on Duty, 1 week out of 4, must be office based for the whole week in order to respond to emergencies.
