Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced Deputy Team Manager to work within an Community Learning Disabilities Team for Brent Council.

Job Purpose

The Brent Community Learning Disability Service is a newly established, forward thinking integrated team which is co-located within the Kingswood Centre. The Brent Community Learning Disability Service is part the of Learning Disability Service at Kingswood Centre, which has been rated Outstanding by CQC. The team works closely with residents, carers and Independent Providers to provide a person centred service to adults with Learning Disabilities

We are looking for an experienced practitioner who can manage and supervise qualified professionals holding complex cases and who has the ability to lead and manage the team, who receive a large number of referrals, on day to day operations.

You will support the Learning Disability's Team Manager in securing the continuous development, improvement, efficiency and success of the Team as a whole. As a Deputy Team Manager you will work alongside, and support, the Team Manager in providing specialist advice, guidance, support and supervision to a range of qualified and non-qualified staff working in Adult Social Care

You will also be directly responsible for supervising a group of staff within their specific team and dealing with day to day quality assurance, customer care and performance issues. will carry a small caseload of complex cases and be responsible for the day to day supervision of front line staff both qualified and unqualified.

You will need to be:

HCPC registered
