Do you have an interest in teaching and have a degree?

Do you live local to Newham?

I am recruiting teachers who have an interest in teaching the next generation. I work with many secondary schools in the Newham area and they are in high demand for cover supervisor for daily cover, short term, long term and permanent roles.

What do you need to be become a cover supervisor?

To be considered for a cover supervisor all you need is:

-A Degree or recognised teaching qualification
-A passion for wanting to teach
-An Enhanced DBS
-Good classroom managment skills

Your responsibilities would be:

-Delivering a lesson based on the teachers plan to KS3, KS4 and A level students
-Follow the behaviour policies that the school has
-Collecting and marking any work that has been done

Schools may need cover from a "on the morning call" or planned absence and would consist of KS3 and GCSE teaching.
You may on occasion be asked to cover lessons out of your subject specialism, this would be supported with set work from the department.

The schools will vary from mixed secondary schools and academies throughout Newham. The schools are happy to consider all experience levels from interested teachers; full support provided for newly qualified teachers.
