Are you passionate about teaching students who are unable to access mainstream education?

Are you a primary trained teacher with a nurturing teaching style?

Are you looking for a new challenge teaching SEN student?

At Remedy we are looking for a long-term Cover Teacher to join a supportive and welcoming team within a SEN school based in North London. This is a fantastic school and staff feel valued and welcomed and have a great support network at the school. The students will have challenging behaviour. You will be working closely with SEN students ranging from ASD, ADD to ADHD. This role requires someone with passion for teaching, dedication to support children and a willingness to shape the future of young pupils.

Requirements:

  • PGCE, QTS, or equivalent teaching qualification and evidence of in-service training
  • Experience of teaching secondary age in a primary manner desirable.
  • Ability to teach across a range of subjects.
  • Understanding of the Safeguarding principles and Child Protection procedures
  • Experience of managing a range of approaches to behaviour, including managing behaviours that challenge.
