Coventry, Team Manager, Children's Locality Services
If you are a Team Manager with experience in Children & Families, this could be your dream job!
You will need a good understanding of 'Framework for the Assessment of Children in Need and their Families' and develop strategies to meet the needs of children looked after.
You will be responsible for the effective provision of services delivered from, and commissioned by a Children's Social Care Team
Main duties include:
- Manage Social Care Staff and ensure assessments are completed within timescales and cases are progressed appropriately.
- Ensure services provided, are in accordance with the Children Act 1989,2004, Inter-agency Child Protection guidelines and Departmental procedures and expectations
Essential requirements:
- Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification
- Registration with Social Work England with ASYE complete
- Experience of performance Management and supervising staff who hold complex cases of Child in Need, Child Protection and Children who are Looked after
- Ability to investigate complaints and manage grievance and disciplinary matters
