Job description
Our client, Cornwall Council is looking for an educational psychologist to join their team.
Qualified Educational Psychologist to work across Cornwall, doing remote, statutory Education, Health and Care assessments. This will require you to; be using a range of assessment materials that can be delivered virtually, carry out remote observations, meet with parents/carers, children and young people, school and setting staff, and other involved professionals through the use of video conferencing platforms such as Teams or Zoom. You will be required to use the EHC assessment templates supplied by Cornwall Educational Psychology Service and work to specified time scales. This will be commissioned per assessment. Each assessment takes 2 days and we will be looking to commission 5 assessments in the first instance.
You will be given a Senior Educational Psychologist to report to who will be the conduit through which work is assigned, will be your key point of contact and will be able to direct you to relevant support services, e.g. business administration.
An enhanced DBS check will be required.
