Complex Needs Teaching Assistant - The Role

We currently require a complex needs Teaching Assistant to start working with one of our most trusted clients. You will be working in in a Complex PMLD classroom with students that have complex needs and medical needs. Two of the students in this primary classroom have oxygen tanks and 3 are physically disabled and require a wheelchair. Ideally, we would like someone with experience in Manual Handling, Hoisting, personal care and has Buccal midazolam training as two of the students are epileptic.

Complex Needs Teaching Assistant - The school

This is an Outstanding Special School that caters to the needs of students that have both profound and multiple learning difficulties and medical needs. They currently have 45 students on role and require someone to work in their KS2 classroom where there are 6 students. These are the most complex in the school and you must have at least 2 years' experience in a SEN education background or in a care working environment.
