College Behaviour Mentor - SEN - Lambeth South East London

Remedy Education are looking for a Behaviour Mentor to join our SEN College based in Lambeth South East London, you will be working with students ages 16-19 who have been diagnosed with ASD and have challenging behaviour.

The role is to start ASAP on a full time long term basis, the hours are 8.30 till 9-4 Monday to Friday.

You will be supporting students with challenging behaviour and personal issues, some of the students might want someone to talk to and someone to build a relationship with.

The college are looking for someone with strong ASD experience and who can also help manage the challenging behaviour within the class, you will be working with the Teacher/Lecture and will also be supported by other Mentors.

You must have:

• Current DBS
• Experience working with EBD
• Must have at least 1 years experience working within a college
• Must be able to support with literacy and numeracy
• Must have classroom experience
