Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced Child Protection Chair to work within Sutton Council.

Job Purpose

• We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Child Protection Chair to join our dynamic and proactive Quality Assurance Service.
• The service provides effective challenge, actively monitoring and improving social work practice which contributes towards achieving the best outcomes for children subject to Child Protection Plans in Sutton.
• As a Child Protection Chair you will effectively chair Child Protection conferences, undertake audit and improvement work and promote good partnerships with other agencies. You will also be involved in delivering training and developing the service.

About you

We welcome applications from experienced Social Workers/Managers who are able to show initiative, an ability to work under pressure and to expected standards; have supervisory skills and who can develop our services to an outstanding standard. You will be highly organised and have strong written and analytical skills, a thorough knowledge of safeguarding legislation and experience of managing/supervising staff or students. You will have excellent skills alongside the capacity to meet targets to ensure best outcomes for children.
