Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced Change Lead to work for Thurrock Council.

Job Purpose

The council are seeking two experienced and credible change leads to support the HR & OD function in delivering transformation activity related to business change and people. The posts will report into the Strategic Leads for People and OD and HR, Improvement and Resourcing.

Change Lead Resource

  • Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities

Apply a change management process and tools to support adoption of the changes required by the project

  • Lead on communication
    Support the design, development, delivery and management of communications.
  • Assess the change impact
    Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders.
  • Support training efforts
    Provide input to the L&D team on requirements
  • HR experience (Org change project only)

Use HR expertise to drive people efficiencies and support services to design and implement future proof structures that deliver services

  • Complete change management assessments
  • Identify, analyse and prepare risk mitigation tactics
  • Identify and manage anticipated resistance
  • Consult and coach project teams
  • Create actionable deliverables for the change management levers: communications plan, roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, resistance management plan
  • Support and engage senior leaders
  • Coach managers and supervisors with identified leads
  • Support organisational design and definition of roles and responsibilities
  • Coordinate efforts with other specialists
  • Integrate change management activities into project plan
  • Evaluate and ensure user readiness
  • Manage stakeholders
  • Track and report issues
  • Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress
  • Support change management at the organisational level
  • Manage the change portfolio
