Challenging Behaviour Teaching Assistant - Enfield North London

Remedy are looking for strong teaching assistant who are able to deal with challenging behaviour. Our school based in Enfield are looking for teaching assistants/learning mentors who are able to support our students with their emotions as well as with their education.

Some of the students at this schools have mental health issues so sometime needs to talk to staff about how they are feeling, this is why we are looking for people who is able to deal with these emotions.

ill be required to work within a classroom setting as well as some 1:1 work.

The school is based in South West London with easy transport links, the school has great facilities and has friendly welcoming staff.

  • * Full time Teaching Assistant position, immediate start
  • * £80- £90 per day depending upon previous experiences
  • * Supporting students in small groups and on a 1:1 basis and in a classroom setting

The successful Teaching Assistant will support students in class across the subject areas, and deliver targeted interventions to students on a 1:1 basis during lessons and break times.

Further to this, the appointed Youth Work Teaching Assistant will have the opportunity to cover lessons in the absence of the class teacher, which is great experience of classroom and behaviour management. Due to some of the students displaying challenging behaviour, the role will also involve working closely with pupils who have been withdrawn from lessons.
