This role is;

* To coordinate the delivery of employment and skills brokerage across various council departments and external support agencies, tracking progress and working in partnership with a range of services to provide a joined up skills and employment service.
* To provide client facing information, advice and guidance, employment and training support to local residents in the Local Authority who are unemployed or seeking to improve their economic well-being
* To lead on the development of a candidate pipeline for vacancies within the ESF funded Routes to Employment - Works Employment and Skills service.
* To coordinate the development of process maps and enhancement of the customer journey through the service
* To monitor the quality and type of provision as well as customer service amongst job seekers and other client groups.
* Advise and assist project participants on available support and coordinate and monitor cross-departmental referrals of candidates through the Employment and Skills service.
