CARETAKER | East London | MUST DRIVE

Rate: £120 - £150

Contract: Full Time

Hours: AM 6 - 10 / 3 - 6 PM

Start Date: ASAP

Remedy are seeking an experienced Caretaker who can Drive, you just hold a valid licence, this is because you will be travelling to all 5 sites based in Newham. This role works on a shift pattern, your main responsibility will be opening and closing all the sites.

School Caretaker | Responsibilities

• Locking or unlocking of the school as required and ensuring general security of the site.
• Routine maintenance of school buildings and grounds and undertaking minor repair work,
• Cleaning duties
• Day-to-day maintenance, security (alarms), and preparation of facilities.
• liaising with contractors
• Proven range of maintenance and facility management skills.

CARETAKER | Requirements

• Strong practical and problem-solving skills.
• Previous experience as a caretaker in a school setting.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• To have or be willing to obtain a DBS certificate on the update service.
• Provide a minimum of two references to cover the last 24 months of employment.
• Right to work in the UK.
