Job description

Our client, Bolton Council is looking for a registered manager to join their Intermediate Tier Bed-Based Service.

Acting Service Manager based at Laburnum Lodge nursing home.

The aim of the service manager in the Intermediate tier service at Laburnum Lodge is to:

1. Support with the Management of effective flow of the service and support NHS hospital colleagues
2. Ensure ongoing support and guidance for all staff and service users.
3. Engage, support and be involved in the development of integrated bed based future modelling.
4. Provide a high-quality service in accordance with required CQC regulations.

This is an opportunity to enhance your skills and support our busy services. The successful candidate will be involved in contributing to the safe and effective operation of the service whilst the post holder is temporarily absent.
The role will be for the next 6 months, working 37 hours per week, and flexibly Monday to Friday within the hours of 8.30am to 5pm.
The role will also support the wider integrated management team and you will report to the integrated head of service.

The successful candidate will need to hit the ground running and be responsible for the day to day running of the home's responsibilities along with the senior sister. This includes managing Care Supervisors, providing them with appropriate support and guidance, hold financial responsibilities and monitor the allocated budget.

Essential requirements:
* Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification
* Registration with Social Work England
