Job description

Our client Bedford borough Council are looking for a QSW to join their Adult Safeguarding team

Bedford Borough Council views safeguarding as a key priority and seeks a qualified social worker to join a committed team of Advanced practitioners and Support workers, to act as the first point of contact for safeguarding concerns for adults with Care and Support needs. Within this role you will be part of a team responsible for triaging and managing all new safeguarding concerns referred into Adult Social Care.

The successful candidate will be skilled and motivated with excellent interpersonal skills, you will need good analytical skills with evidence of the ability to make clear evidence recommendations to promote effective decision making, and the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and partners.

Essential requirements:
* Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification
* Registration with Social Work England
* ASYE completed
