Job description
Our client, London Borough of Barking & Dagenham are looking for a social worker to join their Family Group Conference Coordinators
To work with children and young people who are on the edge of care or who are looked after by the Local Authority in either foster care, family and friends care, residential care or adoptive placements to enable children and young people to remain within their family network or to prevent further placement breakdown.
Working with colleagues across Care and Support to improve the outcomes for children and young people, by facilitating family group conferences, delivering restorative mediation interventions, undertaking a variety of group work with parents and children and carrying out return home interviews as required

Essential requirements:
* Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification
* Registration with Social Work England
* ASYE completed
