Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Team Manager to work within a Leaving Care/Looked After Children.
The role of the Assistant Team Manager is to provide management support and casework oversight and professional supervision to social workers, family support workers and joint working with Personal Advisors. The Assistant Team Manager will support the team manager and social workers to pursue the best possible outcomes for children and young people through good value arrangements, secure stability and permanence for vulnerable children and young people. The role includes the development and management of their direct reports including performance, target setting and case work, the role will require completing reports of a high quality to a range of stakeholders, case planning, case analysis and evidence of thorough risk assessment throughout, and achieving agreed targets. Regular attendance and contribution to strategy discussions, stability meetings and permanency planning will be expected whilst putting the children and young people at the centre of the work. Relationships with children in care, care leavers and families should be developmental and progressive which includes seeking and engaging the voices of children, young people and families in the decisions, activities, evaluation, service development and design.
