Job description

Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Director to work within Commissioning for a Local Authority based in South East England.

Job Purpose

  • Lead the strategic and operational commissioning of provision for populations of children and families in order to deliver improved outcomes, ensuring an efficient and effective allocation of resources within agreed budgets in line with departmental priorities.
  • Lead the department's business support to deliver effective, efficient and responsive services that support operational delivery.
  • Contribute to collective leadership of the council, working collaboratively across the organisation and with partners and stakeholders to support delivery of great services to residents.
