ASD TA - The Role

Are you an experienced ASD teaching assistant that is looking for a new and challenging role to start ASAP? If yes, then we want you to apply for this role working in an ASD SEN school. You will work in a class group with KS1 ASD students that are all non-verbal and have difficulty communicating. There are 5 students in the classroom all of whom are low functioning ASD and challenging. The school asks that you have Team teach training to help deal with the challenges you may face daily.

ASD TA - The School

The school is in Lewisham and is close to all local transport links. They have access to parking for most staff and have a bus stop right out front. They have over 56 students on role and are looking to expand in the next few years with the building of their new school building. At this SEN school the cater to severe learning difficulties specifically Autism and students that are low-functioning ASD.
