ASD Teaching Assistant

Remedy Education are working with a SEN School in Waltham Forest who are looking for ASD Teaching Assistant to support a student with a high level of ASD. The school are looking for SEN TAs with experience of working within a variety of needs including ASD (Autistic Spectrum Disorder), MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties), SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties), SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health), Challenging Behaviour.

The ideal candidate must have:

• Relevant experience
• Clear communication
• Committed to securing high levels of progress, achievement for students
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Enhanced DBS Children and Adults

You will be working alongside a student who is very challenging, the student need someone who will be able to support them throughout the day and look after him.

You must have a good knowledge of ASD and have worked in a school before.
