Working with students with ASD, SEMH

Long-term contract, starting Tuesday 4th May

Remedy Education are looking for an experienced Learning Support Assistant to work in a SEN Secondary School in South East London.

About the Job:

Learning Support Assistant required to work with students across KS3/4 with ASD, SEMH etc. The students access the curriculum either in the main classes or in smaller groups in a specialist unit.

The position is due to continue on a long-term basis.

Requirements:

The successful Learning Support Assistant will have a strong academic background as well as experience of working 1:1 and with small groups of students on the SEN register. Previous experience of working in a school is welcome, as well as those who have relevant experience as a Youth Worker, Sports Coach etc.

Our client is an Outstanding 11-16 secondary school in South East London and is close to major rail, tube and bus links.
