A 'Outstanding' Primary school in Lewisham, are searching for a teaching assistant to join them this term. This is a fantastic primary school graded 'Outstanding' by Ofsted. The Head Teacher is searching for a teaching assistant to work 1:1 with an SEN child with verbal ASD in Year 4 on a long-term basis. The start date will be in September 2019. There is a permanent opportunity to continue in September 2020.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with Autism and ABA. The child is in Year 4 and the teaching assistant will be required to work with them during all lessons and to ensure they are involved in wider school life. Previous experience in a similar role is ideal for this position. It is a full-time position working 8.30am - 4pm each day. This is a high-functioning verbal Autistic child so previous experience with this would be ideal!

This role requires someone who will be reliable and committed - the child needs a consistent support system and this will be a vital part of this role.
