A tutor is required to help a young person to achieve their academic goals to prepare for them to merge back into school and their school exams. The young person needs maths, English and Science covered and any additional subjects would be a bonus.

A student needs extra help with core subjects after school hours for 10 hours per week. The tutoring will take places at the student's home and you will be expected to assess their progression over a minimum of a 6 week period.

It is essential that all applicants are educated to degree level or hold a UK recognised teaching qualification such as QTS. Current knowledge of the National Curriculum is required if you wish to tutor students for school entrance examinations.

The suitable candidate will have the following:

• National Curriculum knowledge
• 2 years teaching or tutoring experience in the UK
• UK recognised teaching qualification i.e. QTS
• Educated to a degree level
• Clear and valid DBS
