Remedy Recruitment Group are looking for an Allocation Assessment Officer for a Local Authority in Essex.

Job Purpose

Support the delivery of Borough Council's Housing Allocation policy

• Assess eligibility of applicants and ensure all are placed in the correct banding as per the Allocation policy
• Respond to e mails form customers and agencies
• Deal with day to day telephone queries regarding applications
• Update computer system
• Make appropriate referrals to Housing Options Officers
• Any other duties appropriate with the role

You will need to be:

HCPC registered

Eligible to work in the UK
