The Team leader will provide the operational managementand leadership support across the service geographical areas supporting the Head of Family and Youth Resilience and other Heads of Service.

The post holder will be responsible for managing: Senior Practitioners/Social Workers/Social Work Assistant (up to 5), Youth Worker, Counselling Psychologist or Family Therapist.

The role will ensure high levelsof quality interventions, effective case management oversight,decision making and overall performance in the best interest to adolescents and their families.

This is a unique post in that it is the only team within AfC which requires management oversight of Adolescents across the social care spectrum from the point of referral (assessment), through planning,including CS&E reviews, care proceedings, children in or leaving care.

They will use AfC's socialwork practice model, Signs of Safety, agreed quality standards and operating procedures and attend operational management meetings. The role will represent AfC at operational and strategic multi agency meetings in addition to leading on building relationships with schools.
