Academic Learning Assistant

Remedy Education are currently looking for an academic-based Learning Assistant to work collectively alongside the teacher to deliver the curriculum to a KS2 class of varying abilities.

The successful candidate will provide additional support to some students with SEN needs (Learning Difficulties/Autism) but will not be set aside to work with these students on 1:1 basis.

This position is based in a lovely Primary school in the suburb of South East London with great transport links and a welcoming and friendly team of support staff - I have met them myself.

What you need to know?

The position will be paying between £70-90 depending on experience

Operating hours of 8:30 - 3:30 working hours with 30-minute lunch break

A 10 minute walk from a the closet station

Excellent potential to go long-term and grow within the school

This position would be ideal for a recent English, Maths or Educational Studies graduate - or alternatively someone with a proven track record of working in and amongst the classroom.
