Remedy Education are recruiting for an expert ABA Tutors in Croydon to work on a 1:1 basis with children with complex & multiple SEND learning needs; particularly in speech & language. The support will be delivered both in the school & home setting.

The role of the ABA tutor will be to deliver a highly specific learning plan both in the home and school setting. You will need to be competent and experienced in working with all types of SEND, particularly SLD, ASC, speech & language and SEMH. The weighting is 60% towards home schooling (40% in-school.)

What makes this role different to that of many other ABA tutor job roles are the following requirements:
- To ensure the production, organisation and maintenance of curricular and teaching materials are age appropriate, functional and relevant to the learner (adapting curriculum content where necessary.)
- To oversee the implementation of the child's Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP)
- To work with professionals (Teachers, ABA Consultant, Speech and Language Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist & Educational Psychologist) and co-ordinate and deliver the provision detailed in the EHCP.
- To deliver Speech & Language, Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy programmes.
- To ensure the production, organisation and maintenance of curricular and teaching materials are age appropriate, functional and relevant to the learner (adapting curriculum content where necessary.)
- To be involved in the writing and review of the child's bespoke Educational Programme and IEP.?
