ABA Tutor
Job Title: ABA Tutor.
Salary £25 per hour.
Required from: 2nd September 2021.
Hours: 214 hours per week (Thursday & Friday), during term time. This will include working in school and supporting the child during lunchtime.

Location: Croydon, CR2

1:1 Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) Tutor support required in a Primary School in Croydon to work with an Autistic boy in year 5.

This is a term time only role, but on-going for 2 academic years.

This rewarding role entails working individually with a delightful Year 5 child, carrying out a program of learning alongside his teachers, and under the supervision of an ABA Consultant. You will be attending classes with him, supporting a wide range of learning activities, ensuring a safe environment and communicating regularly with his teachers and family to monitor his progress and wellbeing.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to the life of a child who requires additional support.

For this role, you must have the following qualities:

  • ABA Trained
  • Extensive experience working with ASD
  • Experience in working in a school
  • Good knowledge of the national curriculum
  • Available on Thursdays & Fridays
  • Positive attitude and approach to learning.
  • Naturally calm and caring nature.
  • Reliability and good time keeping.
