Remedy are looking for a KS2 Primary Teacher to work within a SEN setting.

This role will be to start ASAP located in Woodford Green, Redbridge.

The academy comprises of two different campuses. The school has a Primary and Secondary site. A small number of older pupils remain at the site if it is felt that this better meets their needs.

We admit pupils from ages 2 to 19 years old with a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). We work closely with parents, carers and other professionals to make our students' time at the school as enjoyable, worthwhile and stimulating as possible. We provide exciting learning opportunities for everyone, with a strong emphasis on the skills that children and young people will need for life when they leave us as adults. Our aim is to develop the skills and knowledge of all our young people so that they can become independent and confident adults of the future.

Almost all of our children and young people have Statements of Special Educational Need or the new Education Health and Care Plans. A few children join us on assessment places to decide what type of school can best meet their needs.

All of our staff are dedicated and well trained and understand that parents and carers know their children best of all.

To be considered for this role you will need:

• Have previous taught Primary age within a SEN setting
• Be update with the KS2 curriculum
• Have a valid Child and Adult DBS
