1:1 SEMH Teaching Assistant - Islington

A fantastic Primary school based in Islington are looking for a SEMH Teaching Assistant to work with a young girls in year 2 with server challenging behaviour. This role will start as soon as possible until the end of the school year, with the potential of becoming a permanent position.

The young girl needs someone reliable, patient and who can help her with her development, behaviour and learning.

You will be part of a diverse and forward-thinking team of staff, supporting students with their academic, personal and social development. This role is demanding and challenging, but very rewarding.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A recognised qualification in Education or previous experience working within a school or PRU
• A current DBS
• A confident and friendly approach
• Experience in working with students with challenging behaviour
