Remedy Recruitment Group was proud to attend the NAVSH 2025 Annual Conference in Liverpool, an event that continues to play a pivotal role in improving outcomes for vulnerable children and young people across the UK. Bringing together Virtual School Heads, education leaders, social care professionals and specialist providers, the conference serves as an important platform for collaboration, insight and solution-focused discussion.
This year’s conference centred around innovation, inclusion and building support systems that respond dynamically to the needs of children in care, previously looked-after children, and those with complex or challenging backgrounds. The conversations were honest, impactful and forward-thinking, reflecting the ongoing commitment of professionals across the sector to ensure every child receives the support and opportunity they deserve.
The event offered an invaluable opportunity for our team to connect with Virtual Schools and Local Authorities nationwide. We engaged in discussions around recruitment challenges within SEND and social care provision, the evolving needs of schools, and the importance of trauma-informed, consistent staffing.
Listening to the experiences of Virtual School Heads reinforced the need for specialist, reliable and responsive support, values central to the work we deliver at Remedy Recruitment Group. We appreciated the space to both share our expertise and learn from others within the sector who remain dedicated to improving long-term outcomes for young people.
NAVSH 2025 featured insightful keynote speakers whose knowledge and lived experience encouraged reflection across all areas of practice. Topics such as:
The long-term impact of trauma
Strengthening pathways to education and employment
Improving engagement for children with SEND and SEMH needs
Raising aspirations for care-experienced young people
These aligned closely with our mission and affirmed the importance of continuing to innovate as a recruitment partner in this space.
Our attendance at NAVSH 2025 reinforced why events like this matter not only to learn and share, but to connect, collaborate and challenge ourselves to deliver better for the children and young people at the heart of our work.
We would like to extend our thanks to the National Association of Virtual School Heads for hosting another powerful and forward-thinking event. The passion and dedication shared across the two days was both motivating and inspiring.
For anyone we had the pleasure of meeting at the conference, we would love to continue the conversation. Whether you’re seeking staffing support, discussing future projects, or exploring partnership opportunities, the Remedy Recruitment Group team is always here to help.
