I am currently working with a school in South West London who are seeking an energetic and committed teacher to join their school from January 2018 on a long-term basis.

About the role:

You will be teaching a Year 6 class of 28 mixed ability pupils, supported by a TA. There are a number of children with SEN needs in the class, however the school prides itself on good behaviour, and none of the children present a behavioural concern. The school are looking for a teacher that has previous KS2 teaching experience, preferably in Year 6, and is able to plan and deliver a creative and engaging curriculum that motivates and engages all pupils, and gives everyone an equal ability to succeed, regardless of their academic and economic background. All planning and marking responsibilities are included.

You will be joining a high achieving 3 form entry, and a caring community, with children placed at the heart of everything that they do. You will be supported by a strong, helpful and committed staff team, and two other co-teachers who planning will be split between. The school is oversubscribed, with a 'Good' OFSTED rating, and is currently working towards a path to excellence. The school has excellent facilities on site, including a state of the art music room and recently refurbished food technology room, where specialist lessons take place as part of a broad and balanced curriculum, as well as a large sports field and outdoor wildlife area.
