Our client, Warrington Council is looking for a Specialist Assessment Social Worker to join their team.

The primary purpose and scope of the job is undertake specialist assessments (i.e. sibling assessments, Reg 24/viability assessments, special guardianship reports etc) during the pre-proceedings, care proceedings and/or when children are placed under Section 20. You will have primary responsibility for the assessment and therefore you will not have an allocated caseload, but solely focussing on specific assessments.

Essential requirements:
* Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification
* Registration with Social Work England
* ASYE completed
