Our client, Wandsworth Council is looking for a Team Manager to join their Leaving Care team.

We are looking for an experienced manager who has worked in a Local Authority setting and has experience of:

* Experience of managing a team of social workers in children's social care

* Knowledge of Leaving Care legislation and regulations

* Knowledge of the support required for unaccompanied asylum seekers - ideally a passion for this area of work

* Skilled at supporting staff through difficult and unexpected change

* Skilled at motivating and developing social workers in their practice

You will need to be:

HCPC registered

Eligible to work in the UK
