Team Teach Teaching Assistant - Lewisham South East London

Remedy Education have a vacancy for a team teach teaching assistant at a well-respected Secondary Special Needs School in Lewisham working with children with autism and challenging behaviour. The team teach teaching assistant will be able to manage challenging behaviours and emotional patterns from ASD children and be able to de-escalate behaviours before they become challenging.

The ideal candidate should be Team Teach certified as well as previous experience working with children or young people with behavioural difficulties. You need to have a passion to support students with challenging behaviour and a strong desire to improve their time in school under your care.

This is a long term position starting ASAP on a long term basis, the school needs someone reliable with experience working in schools with SEN students.

The school is based in Lewisham with great transport links from London, this is a secondary based role.
