Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced Team Manager to work within a 16-25 Leaving Care service for a Local Authority based in South East London.

Job Purpose

You must be very experienced working with Adolescents and young adults, driving good outcomes and committed to improving life chances. The Council's 16-25 Leaving Care team is currently undergoing exciting change. Funded by the DfE Innovation programme, and working in partnership with Catch22, we are working to improve the outcomes of care leavers by exploring new ways of working.

We are recruiting a team manager who is keen to join us on our journey and contribute to improving our service. We are an enthusiastic and supportive service, who are passionate about working with young people. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of, and help shape, the change in our service, and work to co-design the service with young people, local organisations and partners.

You would be working with five other team managers and leading your team to achieve the best possible outcomes for our care leavers, by ensuring high quality pathway plans are in place that reflect the voice of the young person, and are focused on supporting them with health, employment, and practical needs.

You will lead a team of social workers, personal advisors and an experienced practitioner working with vulnerable young people. You will need to provide excellent supervision and guidance, based on the Boroughs Practice Framework, which is both relationship-based and responsive to the needs of children and their families in a timely manner.

You will understand that performance directly relates to impact on outcomes, have high standards and be able to deliver within a high support high challenge environment.

You will need to be:

HCPC registered
