Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced Team Manager to work within Barking and Dagenham Councils Family Support and Safeguarding Team.

Job Purpose

• The Family Support & Safeguarding Service are looking for an experienced Social Work Team Manager.
• You will manage a small team of up to five social workers holding caseloads of child in need, child protection and care proceedings.
• Experience of managing court work is essential, as is experience of providing robust supervision and case direction.
• We are a busy service and our focus is on implementing plans and driving progress towards permanent outcomes for our children and families.
• Our value base is one of relationship-based social work and we have a culture of high support.
• We operate a hybrid model of home based and office based working.

You will need to be:

• SWE registered
• Eligible to work in the UK
