Brief Description of job role and department

This role may be based in Children or Adult Social Services in the People Directorate. The Team Manager will ensure that the Council fulfils its statutory duties and lead on improvements to ensure that the best outcomes are achieved and that service users are placed at the heart of practice and safeguarding is prioritised.The Team Manager will provide leadership and expert advice to a multidisciplinary team ensuring that services are delivered in a safe and effective way in accordance with statutory requirements and with the application of early help/preventative interventions.
