Daily Supply Teaching Assistant - Flexible days and hour - South East London

  • Location: South East London
  • Position: Teaching Assistant
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Pay: £85-£105 per day

Remedy Education are looking to build a team of reliable Teaching Assistants who are interested in doing daily supply work. This role would involve filling in for sickness, holiday and last-minute cancellations for schools across South East London.

Work typically becomes available the day before or the morning of, so we are looking for people who are flexible and open to working with last minute notice

This role would be great for people who want to work part time, either on set days or a more flexible schedule

Experience with secondary school aged children is preferred but not essential

Responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant

  • Working with children aged 4-16 operating classes in various subjects
  • Helping children with special educational needs
  • Engaging with students for 4-5 periods
  • Treating children with respect and kindness as a teaching assistant

Job Requirements to be a Teaching Assistant :

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service
  • Interest in working with children (specifically with SEN)
  • Experience working in childcare, informally or formally
  • Right to work in the UK

Desirable for a Teaching Assistant:

  • An honours degree (preferably Upper Second) or equivalent
