Remedy Education urgently require enthusiastic Teaching Assistants/ SEN Teaching Assistants to work in the London Borough of Enfield and surrounding areas In the North West of London. Teaching Assistants would be required for both day-to-day supply and longer-term assignments.

We are recruiting on behalf of a number schools in North West London, who require eager and passionate Teaching Assistants to support pupils from Reception through to Year 6. Many roles are working 1-to-1 with children with statements of Special Education Needs, though from time to time you will also be required to work with a small group of children, as well as assisting the classroom teacher with lesson planning. The successful candidates will be patient, understanding and positive. TA roles can be challenging at times, but it is also extremely rewarding.

The ideal Teaching Assistant

• will be a recent graduate with a strong academic background (2:1 degree and above),
• be a personable and approachable individual and represent themselves and their potential placement school to uphold a great level of performance.
• Have previous experience working within a school setting and ideally working with Special Educational Needs.

The Teaching Assistant role will entail many aspects of school life, including supporting both staff and students as well as giving their own input in to the day to day running of school life. For exceptional applicants the Teaching Assistant positions may offer opportunities for progression within the school.

Enhanced rates of pay will be available for high performing candidates with excellent references.
