Remedy Education have the perfect opportunity for graduates looking to begin their career after obtaining a degree. This post will take place in the exciting borough of Lambeth, South East London working as a SEN Primary Teaching Assistant!

A diverse Primary School judged by Ofsted a being 'Outstanding' in all areas, are looking for a strong and committed Teaching Assistant to support the learning of children with a range of SEN.

Interviews are being arranged ASAP and the school are excited to meet graduates with a passion for developing children within their school.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • A degree from a reputable university
  • Passion for education and special needs and aspirations in Psychology or Education
  • Understanding of traits and needs of SEN children and willingness to learn more
  • Be able to handle responsibility and work with professionally within the school
  • Experience in a UK child related setting preferred
  • An interest or experience with Psychology, particularly with children
  • Have an individual creativity and can share ideas with their team

About the Role:

  • Supporting SEN: Autism, ADHD, Speech and Language difficulties and low attainment
  • Following plans from the Class Teacher or SENCO
  • Leading small group or 1:1 activity
  • 8:30am until 3:30pm hours, 5 days a week
  • ASAP start for the full academic year
  • Earn £70 - £85 per day
